Keaukaha is a famous place in Hilo a lot of people like to go to the beaches that are near by. One of Keaukaha's famous beaches is Puhi Bay. Puhi Bay is known for having many eels. A lot of people go there on days that are hot or in summertime.I choose these pitures because this is one of the most famous beaches in Keaukaha, and the song talks about how famous Keaukaha is.

Puhi bay

Puhi bay is the place to stay. When it is a nice hot hot day that is the right place to play.
We camp we eat than we play. WE love to swim and Puhi bay is da bomb.

Posting your photos and reflection

Blogs are great ways to share something about you. Many blogs in the blogosphere are well-written, and include pictures to help emphasis a blog.

In this activity, you will write a blog and attach pictures to their blog entry.

TASKS: Choose from 2 different ways to write their blog entry.

1. Write about something you want to share with the blogosphere, such as your favorite beach, favorite hobby or sport, anything. Writing can be a paragraph narrative, a poem, or a song. Then take or find 3 pictures to accompany your blog entry.

2. Choose 3 pictures which appeal to you, any 3 pictures. They can be pictures that you’ve taken yourself, or pictures you found at home or on the Internet. Write something to accompany the 3 pictures; it can be a personal narrative of why you chose those pictures, a poem, a song...anything. Be sure your writing is relevant to the pictures you chose.

Digital photography and posting comments and photos

Students will particapate in the 4H digital photography lesson, written by Dr. Barbara Chamberlin. They will use the given information from the lesson and tips
Students will then explore the blogsphere to comprehend the differences of blogs. After exploring what types of blogs are on the web, students will then take their digital photos and post them to KTLC with a written reflection, via description of photo, song lyrics, poem....etc.
Hopefully this activity will be a positive experience in creative writing, writing with purpose and contributing to the blogosphere.
